This summer I am interning with the Constitution Building Processes program in International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEA) in Stockholm, Sweden. I am looking forward to a fascinating and fulfilling summer working on post-conflict constitution building issues. IDEA is a intergovernmental organization whose main goal is to provide resources and professional analysis concerning development issues to leaders in developing nations. IDEA's programs span the globe and address pressing international concerns such as post-conflict constitution building, human rights protections, and democracy in development. As an intern, I will be working with the staff, researching legal aspects of constitution building and international norms. I will also be working on training programs IDEA is creating to assist leaders in developing countries in building a constitution.
