Conference: Adaptive Planning for Flooding & Coastal Change in Virginia

The Virginia Coastal Policy Clinic (VCPC) and the Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS) hosted a forum on September 13, 2013, for local governments and coastal stakeholders to discuss legal and policy issues related to coastal flooding.  The conference was presented by VCPC and VIMS, in collaboration with the Commonwealth of Virginia.  Speakers included Secretary of Natural Resources for the Commonwealth of Virginia, Doug Domenech, Norfolk Mayor Paul D. Fraim, Virginia Beach Mayor Will Sessoms, Hampton Mayor Molly Ward, and Virginia Delegate Christopher O. Stolle (83rd District).
