The Center for Coastal Resources Management and Virginia Sea Grant located at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science and  William & Mary Law School's Virginia Coastal Policy Center have a joint mission to provide science-based legal and policy analysis of environmental and land use issues affecting the state's coastal resources.  From academia to nonprofit and community groups, to local government agencies to prominent funders, VCPC and its partners  link leaders and organizations in e­fforts to eff­ect positive change in the Hampton Roads community, across coastal Virginia, and beyond.
