While we have students in many different family situations, William & Mary School of Law is particularly ideal for students who will be attending law school with spouses, children, or significant others.  The Law School itself is very family friendly! Many of our social events are designed for family members to be able to attend, and those who are interested are always invited to attend guest lectures and seminars, athletic competitions, and our annual Busch Gardens Day, which allows current students to buy discounted tickets to the Busch Gardens amusement park with their law school ID. There is also a variety of fun and educational activities away from campus.  Williamsburg is a prime destination for historical tourism, and families will enjoy walking through Colonial Williamsburg, touring the battlefields of Yorktown, or exploring a reconstructed fort at Jamestown Settlement. Shopping, entertainment, and eating options, along with Williamsburg’s great year-round weather and abundance of parks and trails mean plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities!  Also, spouses and significant others looking for employment have easy access to job prospects in Williamsburg as well as the nearby Hampton Roads, Norfolk, and Richmond markets with simple commutes on Interstate 64.
