Sarah earned a B.A. in peace, war, and defense from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, where she was on the varsity fencing team. At William & Mary, she is vice president of the Student Bar Association, public relations coordinator for the Institute of Bill of Rights (student division), and a graduate research fellow with the Veterans Benefits Clinic. During summer 2014 she is a law clerk with Bartlett & Spirn PLC in Williamsburg, Virginia.
