 The Federalist Society recently honored Tara Leigh Grove, Professor of Law and the Robert and Elizabeth Scott Research Professor, with the 2016 Paul M. Bator Award. The award each year honors a legal scholar under 40 "who has demonstrated excellence in legal scholarship, a commitment to teaching, a concern for students, and who has made a significant public impact." Professor Larsen Receives Tenure

 The university's Board of Visitors has conferred tenure on Professor Allison Orr Larsen and promoted her from associate professor of law to professor of law. Learn more. |

 3L Kaylee R. Gum, a 2nd Lieutenant in the Air Force Reserves, was named one of National Jurist's Law Students of the Year. Gum will serve as an Air Force Judge Advocate after graduation. Learn more. |

Property Rights Project to Honor Peruvian Economist Hernando de Soto in October

 The Project will honor de Soto with the 2016 Brigham-Kanner Property Rights Prize at the project's 13th annual symposium to be held in October in The Hague. Learn more. |
