Computer Labs & Study Rooms

Computer Labs

The Law Library, in coordination with W&M Information Technology, provides two computer labs for student use. The main student computing lab on the library's ground floor has 16  computers. The lab offers students access to a variety of software applications, including Microsoft Office, Firefox/Internet Explorer, and specialized academic and Lexis/Westlaw software.

A second computer and training lab with 12  computers is also located on the lower level of the library. This lab provides access to the same software applications used in the adjacent lab.   All Lexis and Westlaw training -- from 1L introductory classes to Prepare to Practice sessions -- takes place in this lab.

In addition to the computer labs, public access computers are located throughout the library.  These computers are equipped with Internet Explorer and Firefox.

A wireless network permits internet access throughout the entire law school.
