Drapers' Scholarship Competition

This year William & Mary Law School welcomed Elizabeth (Lizzie) Holden as our 2012-13 Drapers' Scholar.  Lizzie earned her LL.B. from Queen Mary College of the University of London in July 2012.  Prior to enrolling at William & Mary, Lizzie interned for Davenport Lyons, shadowed solicitors from Clifford Chance and volunteered at the University House Legal Advice Center.

Each year William & Mary Law School also sends one of its recent graduates for a year of post-graduate study at Queen Mary College of the University of London.  The graduate enrolls at Queen Mary College and may register for courses at any of the other four colleges of the University of London that offer law courses. These include King's College, the London School of Economics and Political Science, University College and the School of Oriental and African Studies. The Drapers' Scholarship includes tuition, round-trip transportation, room and board and a stipend to defray other living expenses.

The Draper' Scholarship competition is open to third-year students at the Law School and William & Mary law alumni who have graduated within the last two years.  If you would like further information about this opportunity, please contact Vice Dean Nancy Combs at [[w|ncombs]].  To apply for the scholarship, please send to Cassi Fritzius, [[w|cbfrit]], your resume and a letter (no more than three pages single spaced) describing the reasons for your interest in this scholarship and why you would benefit from the experience.  The application deadline is 5:00 p.m., Monday, October 15, 2012.
