History & Mission

Public Service Fund is a student-run organization committed to public service and public interest law.

PSF was co-founded by Amy Greer ('89) and Kathy Hessler ('87) and has been providing fellowship assistance to students who obtain summer internships in the public service sector for over twenty years. Click here to read more about PSF's founding.

PSF raises money by holding fundraisers throughout the year in order to raise money for this cause. Students who find unpaid public service or public interest positions for the summer may apply for summer fellowships. In 2013, the Public Service Fund distributed over $50,000 to over 40 fellowship recipients!

The Public Service Fund also contributes $5,000 annually to the William & Mary Law Loan Repayment Assistance Program.
