Born in Brooklyn, New York, Erika is a 2013 graduate of the Florida State University, where she received a B.S. in Political Science and International Affairs, and focused primarily on Human Rights, Refugee Issues, and Religion.
She is excited to spend her summer working with International Bridges to Justice in Battambang, Cambodia - an NGO whose goals include ending excessive pre-trial detention of those accused of crimes and eradicating the use of torture as an investigative tool. Her duties will include conducting rights awareness campaigns, recording clients' stories, and aiding in the representation of those in need of defense.
