General Assembly Includes Funding for Puller Clinic in Budget
The Puller Veterans Benefits Clinic is slated to receive $245,000 in funding from the Commonwealth of Virginia in FY2015-16 through the state budget passed by the Virginia General Assembly last week. This legislation is now before Governor McAuliffe for his approval. Read more.

National Jurist named William & Mary among the top 20 best law schools for practical training. Read more.

William & Mary took 30th place on National Law Journal's "Top 50 Go-To Schools" list, which ranks schools that sent "the highest percentage of 2014 graduates into associate jobs at the nation's 250 largest law firms." Read more.
Inaugural Semester of D.C. Externship Program
Six third-year students externed during fall semester in Washington, D.C. as part of a new initiative to expand skills-building opportunities for our students. Read more.
Professor Dwyer on the Concept and Implications of Special Rights
In February's St. George Tucker Lecture, Professor James G. Dwyer clarified the concept of special rights, catalogued ways that special rights can be bad for groups that have them, and suggested some arguments for rejecting the impulse to create special rights for children. Read more.

Professor Bellin Investigates Judicial Ethics Complaint on Behalf of Federal Courts
In August 2013 a three-judge Special Committee appointed Professor Jeffrey Bellin as Special Counsel to investigate a misconduct complaint filed against a prominent federal judge. In February the Committee on Judicial Conduct and Disability issued a second published opinion that highlighted Professor Bellin's thorough investigation of the allegations in the complaint. Election Law Program Launches eBenchbook Project
With the support of the Democracy Fund, the Election Law Program (ELP) will create State Election Law eBenchbooks in three states as a means of informing state and federal judges about the intricacies of state election systems. ELP is a joint program of the Law School and the National Center for State Courts. Read more.

International Scholars-in-Residence Bring Global Perspective
This year's class of scholars hail from China, Korea, and Japan, and include six judges, four professors, one lawyer, one legal affairs officer, one doctoral candidate, and one police officer. Read more.
Scholarship Repository Grows (now 10,000+ items)
On March 4 the Wolf Law Library's Scholarship Repository hit another milestone--it now includes just over 10,000 items. The repository includes all 400 editions (spanning 45 years) of student newspapers, our entire journal archive, and documents relating to the school's earliest history. Read more.
