Conference and Event Coordinator
Ali officially stepped into Events in November 2019, although she has been part of the Law School for the last three years, assisting with the Brigham-Kanner Property Rights Project and the 2019 fall events. Ali holds a B.A. in Cognitive Science from the University of Virginia. Fun facts: In her spare time, Ali dabbles in creative writing, runs long distances, and plays strategy games with her husband, Drew.
Associate Dean of Admissions
Dexter joined us in July 2019 to lead our law admissions team. He was most recently the Assistant Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid at Campbell University School of Law. Prior to that role, he served as the Director of Admissions at Florida Coastal School of Law. He is a triple “Gator”: he holds a J.D., M.Ed., and undergraduate degree from the University of Florida.
Office Manager and Building Coordinator
Sara is an alumna of William & Mary and received her B.A. in History in 2015. She joined the Law School community in September 2019 from Canon Virginia, Inc., where she was an administrative assistant in Product Engineering and Development. She previously worked for the Program Services Department at the Williamsburg Regional Public Library. Fun Facts: She was born in the Williamsburg Community Hospital (a site which is now home to the William & Mary School of Education) and was raised in Hampton, VA. She loves to cook, travel, and knit (and dreams about finishing her half-completed knitting projects!)
Assistant Dean, Career Services
Sara joined our Office of Career Services in August. She comes to us after spending two years as an Assistant Professor of Academic Excellence at New England Law, Boston. Prior to that, Sara worked at Boston University School of Law for 8 years, where she founded the graduate professional development program and was the Director of the Graduate Tax Program. Sara also worked as a professional development specialist and an attorney at two Boston law firms. Sara holds a B.A. in English from the University of Virginia, an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from Suffolk University, and a J.D. from New England Law. Fun facts: Sara enjoys spending time at beaches in Cape Cod, Delaware, and Nags Head with her husband, two children, and her goldendoodle.
Assistant Dean for Development
Kelly joined our Office of Development and Alumni Affairs in October. She previously worked at William & Mary’s Office of University Advancement as Assistant Director for Regional Advancement (Southeast). She earned a B.A. in Biology at the University of Virginia and an M.Ed. at William & Mary in Higher Education Administration. Fun facts: Kelly is currently studying to become a yoga instructor, and she enjoys cooking, hiking, and taking walks through CW with her new husband, Tyler, and their Shetland Sheepdog, Piper (as well as binge-watching Chef’s Table and Great British Baking Show with their cat, Julep). A classically trained flutist, you can also find Kelly performing throughout Williamsburg. From her days as a mellophone player in the Cavalier (UVA) Marching Band, she is an avid Virginia fan. Kelly’s favorite season is March Madness!

Liz joined our Office of Development and Alumni Affairs in August. She comes to us from William & Mary’s Office of University Advancement where she was Associate Director of Alumni Engagement & Professional Network Initiatives. Liz holds a B.A. in American Government and Sociology from the University of Virginia and an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from William & Mary. Fun facts: Liz enjoys spending time sailing, fishing, and hiking with her husband, Scott, and their English Setter, June.
