International Law Society


The International Law Society (ILS) promotes the professional and academic pursuits of William & Mary law students interested in all aspects of international law, from transnational insolvency to human rights. The ILS also fosters interaction among students, faculty and visiting scholars from around the world who are concerned with global issues.

Important Updates
On Friday, 30 October 2015, the International Law Society, the Immigration Law and Service Society, and Comparative Legal Student Scholars (CLSS), the student division of William & Mary Law School’s Comparative Legal Studies and Post-Conflict Peacebuilding Program, are hosting a two-part symposium on the global refugee crisis from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Room 119. Monday, 2 November from 12:50 p.m. until 1:50 p.m. in Room 141. 


Mr. Samolis was a negotiator for the US/EU trade agreement.
He has tremendous experience in trade law, trade policy and legislation, and international trade negotiations. Come hear him speak about these experiences, as well as the TPA, TIPP, and TPP!
