2024 Tournament

The 53rd Annual William B. Spong, Jr. Invitational Tournament will be held February 23-24, 2024 in-person at William & Mary Law School in Williamsburg, Virginia. 

Registration for the 2024 Spong Tournament is now open! 

The 2024 Spong Tournament Rules are now available here. The Problem will be posted online and released to competitors in late December.

Dates: February 23-24, 2024

Registration
Registration Closes: November 15, 2023 or when 42 teams have registered. Teams who register after registration closes will be placed on a waitlist. 
Registration Fee: $725 for one team, $1350 for two teams
Payment Deadline: December 1, 2023
Banquet Information
Time: Friday, February 23, from 6-9 p.m.
Location: William & Mary Alumni House
Fee: $25 per person
Banquet registration forms and information will be sent to competing teams after registration closes.
Payment
Teams must submit payment via PayPal (username: wmmootcourt, link: https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/wmmootcourt) or check by December 1. If we have not received payment by that date, the team will be removed from the competition list and replaced by a team on the waitlist.

Brief Graders
Per Rule II(G)(1)(F), teams must name a brief grader by 11:59 PM on January 15, 2024. After registration closes, the Spong team will distribute a separate form to collect all brief grader information.
