AI and the Rule of Law
On Wednesday, January 31, Paul Burgess, Monash Law School and Monash Data Futures (Monash University, Australia), discusses his book, "AI and the Rule of Law" in Room 133 of W&M Law School. His book integrates his research expertise in legal theory, legal history, political theory, public law, economics, and constitutional theory.
In this lunch book talk, he will address artificial intelligence and the ways in which the law and legal institutions will need to adapt in order to cater for, and understand, AI in all of its guises. The event is cohosted by: W&M Law's Digital Democracy Lab, Center for International Law and Policy, and the Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Legal Society. It is also cohosted by W&M Data Science.
