Your day starts with a morning jog around Lake Matoaka and a quick cup of coffee from Aroma's. Then it's off to Legal Practice and a lunchtime meeting of the International Law Society. In the afternoon, it's Constitutional Law (free speech is the topic for the day), dinner with friends back at the Gradplex and an evening of engaging intellectual debate (in between pints) at the Student Bar Association's Thursday night "Bar Review."

William & Mary law students are busy. Busy making the most out of a once-in-a-lifetime educational and social experience. Choose from among dozens of different law student organizations. There are service groups like Lawyers Helping Lawyers, educational organizations like the Student Environmental & Animal Law Society, five student-edited law journals, and champion trial, moot court, and alternative dispute resolution teams.

Make the most of the William & Mary campus and connect with students and professors from five different graduate and professional schools.

Williamsburg—or the ‘Burg, as we call it—is one of those towns where you'll instantly feel at home. It's small enough to be accessible on foot or by bike, but big enough to offer tons of great restaurants, bars, bookstores, coffee shops, regional and state parks, movie theaters, music venues, a winery and more. And when the big city beckons, we're only 2.5 hours from D.C. and one hour from Virginia Beach and Richmond.

There is affordable graduate student housing a few steps away from the Law School in furnished, air-conditioned, WiFi-enabled apartments with full kitchens. There also are hundreds of great apartments for rent in Williamsburg.
