Getting Acclimated

I have been at IBJ a couple of weeks now and I am really enjoying it. I have been helping the deputy director with issues that arise, such as determining whether we can fund a project in Iran in light of the U.S. sanctions regime, and which registration vehicle to use for our programs in China. I have also been contributing to the development of content on the Legal Training Resource Center. In the next few weeks I and another volunteer will start working on the annual report, which will be distributed to potential funders. It's exciting to be part of such an important project.

I am really enjoying getting to know everyone in the office. They are very cool people. And so far Geneva has been amazing. I went running in the park yesterday, and it smelled like basil and licorice. All in all things are going very well.
