Nearing the End

I have about three weeks left here in Geneva, and I can't believe the summer is almost over already. It's been great living and working here and getting to know the great people at IBJ. It's also been wonderful to have been given a lot of responsibility during my time here, much more than in the usual internship, I think. I have written important grant proposals, edited the annual report, and done legal research on important issues. I'll spend the next few weeks wrapping up my projects and working on some other initiatives. Since the staff at IBJ is so small, they really rely on their interns to bring into being their ambitious and forward-looking ideas, so there is a lot of opportunity to contribute.

After this summer, I  feel recharged for the school year. I was definitely a bit drained after 1L, but being a part of the positive work being done here has been a very powerful experience.
