August 2 Update
My summer internship at USIP continues to be a great learning experience. Having recently finished my work on the police accountability in Afghanistan project, I was struck by how much work goes into the editing and re-drafting phases of such an effort. In particular, I really enjoyed the process of collaborating with USIP staff to determine the most effective way to organize the paper. I am very excited about how the final product turned out!
I continue to add more information to the Afghanistan country page, with more of an emphasis on directing viewers to certain resources and providing a succinct overview of the information contained in each resource.
Additionally, in response to a posted query on the INPROL website, I have begun to research trial monitoring guides, manuals, etc. in order to investigate the possibility of developing guidelines for administrative procedures.
