Another fun event
In other USIP news, while I was unable to get a reservation for the Liberian president's visit (as mentioned in a previous post), I have signed up for "Security Sector Transformation in North Africa and the Middle East" Conference that is scheduled for next week. UN, EU, foreign officials, State dept, DOD, and USAID representatives will be conducting panels and roundtable discussions on security sector reform in the region. Considering current events, this is extremely timely, and I am really looking forward to it.
