Egypt's Transition
Yesterday, USIP hosted a discussion on Egypt's continuing protests. Egyptians are becoming frustrated with the Supreme Council of Armed Forces, the slow transition toward democracy, and the SCAF's desire to be part of the constitutional redrafting process. Major General Said Elassar sat down to discuss the SCAF's plan and the projected timeline for the reforms.
