Cambodian Slurpee?

After a hot day in the provinces interviewing a client and his family for a success story, our office manager, Dalis took Avery, the other Phnom Penh intern and I for a dessert drink near Orussay Market. The drink was a combination of shaved ice, red beans, condensed milk and some kind of sweet syrup. When we sat down at the stand the woman tried to use an electric ice shaver, but the electricity wasn't working. Fortunately for us, she had a back-up plan. The woman pulled out the hand cranked ice shaver in the video above and went on serving drinks. It was way more delicious than I had expected.
