Atif Choudhury
Atif Choudhury, East West Management Institute
Atif graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2011 where he majored in political science and public health. Atif then served with City Year Washington DC, a school-based AmeriCorps program, for a year before beginning his legal education at William & Mary as a member of the Class of 2015.
This summer he will be a member of the East West Management Institute’s USAID-funded Program of Rights and Justice team in Cambodia where he will work on assisting some of Cambodia’s most marginalized citizens secure their legal rights concerning land and resource issues. Atif will also be a part of the Open Development Cambodia team where he will work with tracking and providing information on a variety of development projects and commercial ventures operating throughout the country. Finally, he will be a member of the EWMI's Counterfeit Pharmaceuticals Prosecution Program where he will work to help stem the flow of illegal pharmaceutical products in Cambodia.
Atif believes his work with PRAJ will give himvaluable practical experience on how to utilize a legal education in order to work within the dynamic fields of human rights, foreign-direct investment, and international development. He looks forward to having the opportunity work in and explore such a fascinating and beautiful nation!
