Salaam with Lots of Food

I have been in Morocco for about a week now and to say my days have been busy is an understatement. I arrived in Casablanca last Wednesday and spent some time with my family before heading to Rabat for work. My first day in the office, I went to the Parliament building to meet with officials. IT. WAS. AWESOME. My next day was just as busy. ROLI is working on creating a disability rights program in Morocco and asked me to research potential programs. In between my research, I also met a Dutch diplomat who is developing a witness protection program for counter-terrorism cases in Morocco. It's fascinating work and I am excited to be in Morocco!

The best part about living in Rabat is my host family. They have been extremely kind and won't stop feeding me! My host dad and mom drove me around the city on the weekend to show me around. I saw the King's Palace, the beach, and everything in between. There is a lot to see in Morocco and I'm hoping to make the most of it for the few weeks I have here.
