Sarah Blackadar

About
Sarah Blackadar is the daughter of two naval officers, and grew up criss-crossing the United States and the Pacific Ocean. She landed in Washington State, where she went to undergrad at Western Washington University. Sarah majored in Political Science/Economics and French Language and literature, and studied abroad at the Université de Haute Bretagne in Rennes, France. After graduation Sarah worked with several social, environmental, and economic advocacy non-profit organizations, including working with Fair Share Alliance during the 2012 elections. In addition to her internship this summer Sarah will be training to run 2014 Marine Corps Marathon in October.
 
Sarah will be working at the National Center for State Courts, International Programs Division in Arlington, Virginia. NCSC’s International Programs Division partners with donor agencies, host-country governments, and civil society organizations to support judicial independence and promote access to justice. NCSC has worked in more than 30 countries, throughout Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East, Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.
