Shaina Salman

About

Shaina Salman is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. She attended Georgia State University where she majored in International Economics and Modern Languages. In between law school and college, Shaina worked for a medium-sized law firm in downtown Atlanta where she gained meaningful exposure to the legal profession. Shaina hopes to one day work in International Law either for a firm or a non-profit organization and dreams of eventually working for the United Nations.

This summer, Shaina will be in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. There, she will be working for Tetra Tech DPK as a Global Law and Development Fellow where she will be assisting DPK carry out their ProJustice Program, which seeks to improve the administration of justice through judicial training, case management, and a strengthened judicial inspection process, and increase access to justice by strengthening legal aid, training community legal advisors, and conducting public education and outreach.
