About
Abby Riley just finished her second year at William & Mary Law School. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with degrees in English and Political Science: International and Comparative Studies. She has experience working at a non-profit organization in Malawi, Africa, and Democracy for Development Institute, a think tank in Pristina, Kosovo. During her 2L year, she externed at a humanitarian aviation non-profit and was a research associate on the Iraq, Kenya, Kosovo, and South Sudan client service team with Public International Law & Policy Group, a global pro bono law firm in Washington, D.C., that specializes in peace negotiations, post-conflict constitution drafting, and war crimes prosecution.
This summer, Abby will be working at the U.S. Institute of Peace in Washington, D.C. USIP is a federally-funded national security institute that researches nonviolent prevention and mitigation of international conflict.
