Ashley Gilkerson

About
Ashley Gilkerson is from Cincinnati, Ohio. She graduated magna cum laude from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University. She majored in journalism and minored in both political science and history. While at Ohio University, Ashley spent a quarter studying in Merida, Mexico, and she also visited London, England on a scholarship. These experiences sparked her interest in international and comparative law.
This summer, Ashley will be interning with Democracy for Development (D4D), a think-tank in Pristina, Kosovo. D4D is guided by a vision that democracy is a precondition for development. The organization develops independent public policy research and works to accelerate the socio-economic development of Kosovo.
