Brian Currie

About

Brian Currie is originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana. He received his B.A. in History from Purdue University, West Lafayette in May 2006. After graduation he worked in language education, professional training, and management in Taipei, Taiwan. During his eight years abroad Brian did extensive travelling throughout southeast Asia and mainland China. Upon graduation, Brian is interested in returning to China to practice international business law.

This summer, Brian will be working for Dentons Law Offices in their Shanghai office. Dentons is the world's largest law firm with 120 locations in more than 50 countries. The Shanghai office handles a wide variety of legal issues including: foreign direct investment, real estate, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, corporate finance, intellectual property, litigation, and employment. Brian will be responsible for assisting the attorneys in Shanghai (as well as those in Beijing, Hong Kong, and Singapore) with research, document drafting, and editing.
