John Satira

About

John Satira is originally from Murrysville, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Penn State University in 2014 with degrees in history and international politics. As an undergraduate student, John interned for a government relations firm in Washington, D.C., and was a research assistant for an academic research center in University Park, Pennsylvania. He also served as president and chief representative of Penn State University's 150-member student ambassador program. At William & Mary Law School, John competes with the Moot Court Team, volunteers for Student Legal Services, and works as a Graduate Research Fellow. In his spare time, John enjoys reading, hiking, marathon training, and practicing the Italian language.

John's legal interests include international, business, and health law, and he looks forward to exploring those areas during his internship with the National Center for State Courts, International Programs Division in Arlington, Virginia. NCSC’s International Programs Division partners with donor agencies, host-country governments, and civil society organizations to support judicial independence and promote access to justice. NCSC has worked in more than 30 countries, throughout Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East, Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.
