About
Laura Wright is a 1L from Charlotte, North Carolina. She graduated summa cum laude from North Carolina State University with a BA in Industrial Design and minor in Intellectual History. During her time as an undergrad, Laura studied abroad in Prague, Czech Republic where she became interested in the relationship between government participation and its impact on cultural identity.
This summer, Laura will be working for Kemitraan in Jakarta, Indonesia. Kemitraan is a partnership for governance reform aimed at establishing a fair, democratic and sustainable governance for the welfare of Indonesian citizens. The organization provides support to KPK, a government agency established to fight corruption. Laura looks forward to working in areas related to Election Law.
