About
Lauren Zitsch is a graduate from Boston University where she studied political science, economics, and Arabic. During her undergraduate years, she also spent a semester in Sydney, Australia, and circumnavigated the world through Semester at Sea. Ultimately, Lauren hopes to pursue a career in international human rights law.
This summer, Lauren is working for the CEELI (Central and Eastern European Law Initiative) Institute, and the Burma Center Prague. The CEELI Institute is working with the Burma Center Prague to advance the rule of law in Burma by providing support, assistance, and practical advocacy skills training to Burmese lawyers. Due to the nature of the work, Lauren will have the opportunity to spend her summer in both Prague, Czech Republic and Yangon, Burma.
