Summer in DC
Just after I submitted my last blog about my first assignement at NCSC, I realized that I forgot to share some nice events I attended during the weekend. First event was the free-museum-tour-weekend at Dupond Circle and Kalorama neighborhoods. All 8 museums around this area were free (including The Phillips Collection, The President Woodrow Wilson House and Anderson House!) and shuttle bus was provided between the museums. How considerate. The second event is still going on now: DC Jazz Festival. I was at the opening event of the festival at The Phillips Collection. Helley Shoenberg Quartet was amazing!
