Anthony Jordan

About

Anthony Jordan is originally from Hendersonville, North Carolina. He received his B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a History and Philosophy double major. After graduating, he moved across the country to Sunnyvale, California and worked at a nascent start-up company whose focus was on international education. He led a small team to develop a seminar course on Stanford’s Design Thinking Method and delivered it to over 1,200 Chinese students. He also tutored both immigrants and first-generation Americans on a myriad of high school subjects, ranging from U.S. History to the SAT exam.

Anthony will spend the summer working for Democracy for Development, a think tank located in Pristina, Kosovo. D4D works to develop independent public policy research in the fields of socio-economic development, governance, and with political parties. They also work to develop stronger inter-ethnic, regional, and international policies within Kosovo. The research and policies that this organization advances are oriented towards the public interest and work to tackle the persistent social and economic challenges in Kosovo today.
