About

Jenna Tyrpak is from York, South Carolina. She received her B.A. in International Business from North Greenville University. During undergrad, she served as an active member and later president of her university’s Human Trafficking Awareness group, advocating for trafficking survivors in the Upstate of South Carolina. After interning with an immigration attorney, Jenna decided to pursue law school.

This summer, Jenna will be working with Winrock International’s Hamro Samman: Partnerships to Combat Human Trafficking in Nepal. Supported by USAID, the project aims to equip local government and private organizations to combat human trafficking by focusing on prevention, protection, prosecution, and partnerships. Specifically, Jenna will be working in the Law & Governance division, and she is excited to explore some of the international policy challenges facing the fight against human trafficking.
