Junayd Rehman
About
Junayd Rehman hails from Clifton, Virginia, a small suburb just outside Washington, D.C. He graduated from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia with a B.A. in Government & International Politics.
Junayd is committed to a future in international judicial development and reform, human rights, refugee resettlement, and legal issues revolving around immigration. His interest in international justice systems continues while he works toward his J.D. at the College of William & Mary Law School. Currently, he is the Co-President of the Immigration Law and Service Society and the Vice President of the Muslim Law Students Society.
Junayd will work with CITIES Community Engagement, Cohesion, and Resilience Team on projects related to government transparency and accountability. He will travel throughout Jordan and talk to communities to find innovative and sustainable ways to both improve how municipalities deliver services to their constituents and how to develop closer relationships between citizens and their government.
