Week Ten
My last week at NCSC was a busy, fast-paced, and enjoyable conclusion to my wonderful summer here. I was very proud to have finished my lengthy cite check of the Moldova LRRW curriculum as well as my fair use memorandum on the curriculum. On Tuesday, NCSC staff brought the interns to a Washington Nationals baseball game as a final summer outing, and it was a lovely time.
As the work week concluded, I packed up my bags and left for a week-long trip to Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. During my time at NCSC, my boss emphasized the importance of learning foreign languages for those that want to pursue international law. His reminders were a great means of keeping me on track in my goal to learn Portuguese before leaving for Rio. While my Portuguese is far from advanced, I can confidently say basic greetings, order food, and point out my allergy.
