Thank You!

As summer draws to a close, it's time for a reflection on my whirlwind of experiences in Washington, DC. Over the past few months, my journey has been marked by a deep dive into regulatory law through my internship at the American Chemistry Council (ACC). From navigating intricate research projects on EPA and OSHA regulations to attending insightful webinars and engaging in stimulating networking events, this summer has been both challenging and rewarding. The vibrant DC social scene also added a layer of excitement to my days, with memorable outings, reunions with friends, and personal milestones like celebrating my birthday. I explored the city’s diverse offerings, from bike rides and picnics to attending baseball games and enjoying local cuisine. Each week brought new opportunities and adventures, balancing professional growth with personal enjoyment.

I took a blogging hiatus to wrap up my internship and prepare for my move back to Williamsburg. During the last two weekends, my parents visited, and we explored a variety of museums in the DC area, enriching our appreciation of the city's cultural offerings. As a final hurrah, I had the pleasure of seeing one of my favorite bands, Black Pumas, perform at the Wolf Trap Amphitheater. Their unique blend of soul, funk, and psychedelic music provided an unforgettable end to an incredible summer. Their energetic performance and soulful melodies were a perfect reflection of the dynamic experiences I've had this summer.

I am incredibly thankful for the opportunity to have worked at the ACC this summer. The experience has solidified my excitement to build a career around administrative law. The rigorous work and exposure to key regulatory issues have been invaluable, reinforcing my passion for this field. Although it was a lot of work, the growth and learning have been worth every moment.

Thank you for following along on my adventures throughout the summer. Your support has made sharing this journey even more meaningful. As I transition back to Williamsburg and prepare for the next chapter, I look forward to continuing to share my experiences and insights with the W&M Law community.
