Cranford Paving Co. v. Baum

97 Va. 501, 24 S.E. 906
Court ordered road for public use to be established across the yard of the paving company. Commissioners reported that just compensation should be $600 for the take and damage to the residue. Trial court confirmed report and Supreme Court affirmed. The commissioners had a thorough view of the property and their report was accorded great weight.
