Jeter v. Board

Supreme Court of Virginia
68 Va. 910

Board filed petition to construct a public road. Road would cross Jeter’s lands. Road commissioner made report that road should be constructed and Jeter should be paid $50. Jeter moved to quash the report as incomplete and county court granted motion. Petitioners appealed to circuit court which reinstated the report and remanded case back for hearing. Supreme Court affirmed. Report was sufficient to proceed upon, and the order appealed to the circuit court was not interlocutory but final.
