Kiessling v. Falls Church

Supreme Court of Virginia
218 Va. 710, 239 S.E.2d 897

City deposited estimated compensation for property it proposed to take in an interest-bearing account. City and landowners reached agreement as to compensation, but failed to include what became of interest. Landowners brought specific performance action to enforce payment of interest. Trial court held that as matter had been settled, case was moot. Supreme Court affirmed.
