Summer 2023 Employment
I split the summer between working at a mid-sized law firm in Valdosta and working for The Honorable Judge Ellen Golden of the Lowndes county state court. At Young, Thagard, Hoffman, I gained experience drafting complaints, motions, and other documents, attending depositions, conducting discovery, and more. I regularly completed legal research projects both at Young Thagard and in the State Court, and I regularly sat in on court proceedings with Judge Golden.

Why W&M Law?
I decided to study law after learning all of the tangible ways that policy can affect people's daily lives and health in ways that you might not expect policy to be able to affect people. I chose William & Mary Law because I loved the warmth and collegial atmosphere that I felt when attending Admitted Students Day. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful, and I loved how everyone seemed to be friends and open to helping one another

How would others describe me?
Outgoing, friendly, creative, enthusiastic, silly, active
