Hi!

Hello, current and future William & Mary Law School applicants! My name is Annabel Steele and I’m a 1L here at the Law School. Though my days are now full of classes, readings, meetings and more, I vividly remember being in the same position as you this time last year — filling out and finalizing a whole host of law school applications, nervously clicking “Submit” and then checking my email fifty times a day for responses from schools. I know full well that the period of time between submitting your first application and finally paying your seat deposit can be stressful and seem endless. But the most important thing to keep in mind is that this period of time will end, and in a matter of months you’ll officially be a law student!

As you prepare for that transition, I’ll do my best to help. Throughout the academic year, I’ll write regular articles on life at William & Mary Law. You can expect articles on topics ranging from daily life in law school to classes, clubs, competition teams and more. Plus, I’ll catch up with William & Mary Law alumni across the country to show how a degree from this school can open doors in cities across the United States. And for those of you wondering what it’s like to live in Williamsburg, I’ll share my experiences in this unique and charming small town. (Hint for my fellow roller coaster fans: Busch Gardens is an excellent destination for a day off!)

Are you interested in learning more about anything in particular? Is there a question you want to ask about William & Mary Law, or a professor you want to learn more about? Let me know by writing me care of [[w|lawadm]] and I’ll do my best to bring you the content you want most as you prepare to join me here in Williamsburg next year. Stay tuned for more updates to come!
