African-American Law Alumni Celebration 2014
William & Mary Law School hosted a very special celebration of our African-American Law Alumni. The two-day program marked the 60th anniversary of the graduation of Edward Augustus Travis, B.C.L. ’54, the first African- American to graduate from William & Mary.
The event took place on February 21 & 22, 2014, and included a program of speakers and panels, as well as an opportunity to meet or renew friendships with fellow alumni and current W&M Law students. There was a gala dinner on the evening of Friday, February 21 and the annual BLSA Oliver Hill Dinner on February 22.
