The biggest deal of her career:

Marty pointed to the undisclosed acquisition of United Urology Group, one of the largest urology platforms in the country, as one of the key deals she's led so far in her career.

In 2024, United Urology was acquired by OneOncology, a national platform for independent oncology practices. While a dollar figure wasn't publicized, United Urology supports roughly 250 physicians and providers and more than 1,300 employees, making the deal one of the largest acquisitions of a urology management provider.

The deal was challenging because it involved numerous states, including Arizona, Maryland, Colorado and Tennessee. It also was fast-paced, with the deal occurring in four or five days, she said.

Marty has also carved out a niche in her practice, having helped Urology Specialists of the Carolinas through multiple transactions that combined numerous practices into the second-largest independent urology practice in the state.

"Urology has been near and dear to my heart for a lot of my career," she told Law360.

Her proudest moment as an attorney:

Marty relishes watching her clients achieve their goals. She points to the two urology transactions as the two of her proudest moments, because she was able to watch those clients grow.

Oftentimes, she works with clients who have zero financial sponsors, but expand to the point where they can take on capital. This growth is important because they're able to serve patients better and provide the highest level of clinical care.

"The proudest moment that I have is seeing a client that started as a smaller independent group and then grew to the size of … United Urology or Urology Specialists," she said.
