National Trial Advocacy College 2026
In August at William & Mary Law School, law students joined experienced practitioners for five days of intensive trial advocacy training designed to increase their confidence arguing a case in front of a judge and jury. The National Trial Advocacy College, organized by the Virginia Law Foundation and Virginia CLE, included presentations and small-group workshops led by nationally recognized trial attorneys, academics and jurists, and concluded with each participant engaging in a mock trial in front of a federal or state court judge.
