Law School to Host Oct. 2011 Conference in China on Property Rights; Justice O'Connor to be Honored Guest
The W&M Property Rights Project's 2011 conference will be held at Tsinghua University in Beijing on Oct. 14-15. Justice Sandra Day O'Connor will attend the conference, where she will be honored with the 2011 Brigham-Kanner Property Rights Prize in recognition of her contributions to property law jurisprudence. W&M Law Grads Achieve Highest Bar Passage Rate on Virginia’s July 2010 Exam
The Virginia Board of Bar Examiners announced that 92.6 percent of W&M Law School graduates who took the bar for the first time passed the July 2010 exam, the highest passage rate among first-time test takers from the eight law schools in the state. To read more, click here.

Tidewater Roots Polling Project Involves Area College Students in Election Process
The Tidewater Roots Polling Project trained 66 area college students to work with registrars in running polling locations in November’s midterm election. The Law School’s Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP) assists graduates, beginning with the Class of 2004, who work for government agencies or 501(c)(3) organizations. The 2011 LRAP application is available by clicking on the link above which also includes information about loan repayment options in addition to the Law School’s.  Deadline for receipt of applications is Jan. 13, 2011.
