William & Mary has 28th most- cited law faculty in the nation
William & Mary rose 16 spots to rank as the 28th most-cited law faculty in the country, according to the latest Scholarly Impact Ranking. The rankings study cited William & Mary as one of four law schools achieving "dramatic rises" in the rankings.

New J.D. and LL.M. students join Law School community
The 195 members of the J.D. Class of 2021 joined us in August from 39 states, the District of Columbia and five other countries. In addition, 28 students from around the world chose William & Mary to continue their legal education through our LL.M. program.

Law School program gives students tools and strategies to promote well-being
"Wellness Wednesdays," now in its second semester, helps students learn how to respond positively to the stresses of law school and also offers tools and strategies to help them enhance their overall wellness.

William & Mary Journal of Women and the Law will have a new name as of Volume 25: The
William & Mary Journal of Race, Gender, and Social Justice. Journal staff will be contacting journal alumni with more information about the name change, as well as information about the journal's spring symposium coming up in February, titled "Power and Identity Politics."
