ABA Forum on the Entertainment and Sports Industries
An American Bar Association committee intended to educate its members on the various aspects of being a lawyer in the entertainment or sports industry. It sponsors educational symposiums and an annual meeting. Publishes The Entertainment and Sports Lawyer (available on Hein Online)
Sports Lawyers Association (SLA)
An organization whose members discuss issues regarding sports law, advocate ethical rules in the field, and distribute information on sports law. Publishes The Sports Lawyer, Sports Lawyers Journal, and Sports Law Weekly (access to these publications is members-only on the SLA site; Sports Lawyers Journal is available on Hein Online).
The Sport and Recreation Law Association (SRLA)
The SLRA is an association created to help disseminate information on sports and recreation law. Holds annual conference and publishes The Journal of Legal Aspects of Sport (available on Hein Online).
