Message on the Passing of Associate Registrar Creech
The Law School community was saddened to learn the news on Thursday of the death of Chris Creech, who passed away that day. Chris recently retired as Associate Registrar.
In a message announcing her passing, Dean Douglas referred to Chris as “truly one of the unsung heroes of the Law School."
Chris joined the Law School in 2001 and had served as Associate Registrar since 2008. In that role, she engaged with virtually all of the law students who pass through our doors, assisting them with registration, add/drop, and graduation requirements, among many other tasks.
In 2014, the Law School recognized her achievements at the Law School's Diploma Ceremony by conferring on her the John Marshall Award, an award given each year to a member of the faculty or staff who has demonstrated character, leadership and a spirit of selfless service to the Law School community.
